Join us 9/29/18 to Walk to Defeat ALS
Saturday, September 29th, 2018 is the date of the 2018 Detroit Walk to Defeat ALS. This annual event is the largest fundraiser for the ALS Association Michigan Chapter. This is our 4th year creating a team to support my bff Terri Saenz. This year we have just 16 team members registered to walk. This means we need your help to support these great people, and help support Terri by donating towards our team. This year we have added a co-captain, Terri’s friend Joely Burlingame. Together, all three of us: Terri, Joely, and Peggy were pompon girls at John Glenn HS during the mid-80’s. We’ve joined forces to raise funds for the non-profit support group ALS Association. Please support all patients with ALS by donating to our team.
We will be walking on Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Detroit Zoo. Terri is hopeful for good weather so she and Jeff can join us, too. In 2017, our mighty team came in first place in fundraising, bringing in over $9400 for the non-for-profit group.
