5th Annual MyFriendTerri.com Golf Tournament a Success
Big thank you to the many folks that worked so hard to pull off a successful fifth golf event. With a four year hiatus, we were not sure our ‘fan base’ would return with such enthusiasm. But, oh did they ever! First of all, huge kudos to Terri’s father Chuck Pickering who was relentless this year in drumming up support for Terri.
We had over 76 golfers and another 25 attendees to the banquet when it was all said and done! The weather was absolutely perfect with sunny skies and a crisp 75 degree day in late September. The dynamic duo of Joely Burlingame and her sister Angie Lovan-Malloy helped check in the golfers and sell raffle tickets at 8:00 am in the morning.
We had tons of hole sponsors this year with Don Nicholson Enterprises producing the cutest signs ever! Big shout out to Don for all he did to support our efforts.

We also had another fabulous prize raffle with well over 40 items up for raffle. We couldn’t have done it without the efforts of Teresa Nord, mother-in-law of Josh Saenz and fabulous friend to Terri and Jeff. Teresa collected lots of donations of items and dollars to generate over 30% of our prizes in the raffle. We cannot thank you enough, Teresa.
Once again this year, Judy Durham Gioia and her employer CDW gave generously to Terri with the donation of an Apple Watch and iPad/keyboard case. Both items were auctioned off and went to happy homes.
