Bowling Event was a Blast!
November 18, 2016 is in the books as the second annual MyFriendTerri.com Bowling Night! We had over 130 friends attend the fun 80’s themed night at Westland Bowl. With the 80’s music rocking on the juke box, Terri, Jeff, Brandyn, and Josh greeted the many friends and family who came out for a fun evening of food, raffles, and of course bowling!
Special thanks to the many friends that helped register guests and sell raffle tickets. There were over 35 gifts in our raffle room including two sets of Detroit Red Wing Tickets!!
The 80’s dress-up contest was a blast too, with Jeff’s cousin Tony Johnson (left) taking home the top prize!
The appetizer spread was again donated this year by John Glenn graduate Scott Winfrey of Marquis Food Service in Westland. Everything was so tasty and fresh! We cannot thank Scott enough for his continued support of Terri!
There was even a 50/50 raffle which was won, then generously re-gifted back to Terri. Such a generous evening that was so much fun! Terri & Jeff are thankful for all the support they’ve received since January 2015 when Terri was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease, aka ALS. This was the second bowling event hosted at Westland Bowl. Thanks to JGHS grad Scott DeRosia for taking great care of us.
