Observer Newspaper Catches Up with Terri & Her Battle

Sunday, May 1st, was an exciting day for Terri & Jeff Saenz.  They were up mighty early to be the beneficiaries of a giant 5K walk over at the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park, known as the SJ5K (see last blog post).  When they returned from an amazing event with over 2950 walkers, their hometown newspaper had a followup story in the community life section.

Reporter Sharon Dargay wrote a follow-up piece to her coverage last June about Terri’s clinical trial journey.  This week’s article is very well written and we wish to thank Ms. Dargay for bringing awareness of Terri’s ALS battle to the readers in Western Wayne County.

The article also spotlights Terri’s upcoming Golf Tournament fundraiser on May 21.  There is still time to register a team or individual, donate a prize, or simply sponsor a hole.
